We road test Bliss’s Triple Oxygen Facial
When I visited Bliss Spa at the W Hotel Lakeshore for the first time, I was a woman on the edge. The reason? My face had broken out in a major way – the kind of breakout that even industrial strength cover-up can’t fix. Suddenly it was like being a teenager all over again, minus the gravity-defying butt.Having heard through the grapevine that Bliss’s Triple Oxygen Treatment is one of the best quick-fix, glow-giving facials in the business, I booked the first appointment I could get. The spa itself is a wonderful hideaway nestled on the 8th floor of the W, complete with wall-to-wall Bliss products, a fabulously Zen locker room and a eucalyptus steam shower for added relaxation.
Perhaps it was because I was desperately trying to avoid the selection of mini cheesecakes and brownies tempting me from across the waiting room, but I was still feeling on edge when my friendly esthetician, Nikita, arrived. However, once in the treatment room and snugly tucked under the covers of my heated treatment bed, I started to feel wonderfully relaxed and ready for some much needed TLC.

Nikita started by assessing my skin and asked me about my skincare regime, problem areas and general concerns. Then she got down to business, commencing with a Microdermabrasion add-on treatment, which she promised would make extractions easier and give my skin added glow. Once this was complete she began the facial, which included an application of Bliss’s Triple Oxygen Mask, pore extractions (ouch!) and an application of pure vitamins, including Vitamin E and Vitamin C. She finished with a refreshing blast of Bliss’s Oxygen Spray to awaken my skin and leave it looking truly radiant.
Immediately afterward I was amazed at how good my skin looked. It was positively radiant and nearly flawless – as if by magic my blemishes had been erased and in their place was clear, youthful skin. It was the best my skin has looked in a very, very long time. And it stayed that way. The next day I ventured out without a scrap of make-up on, something I haven’t done in years. I was filled with confidence and paused to admire my glowy complexion at every opportunity.
A few days later my skin still looks and feels almost flawless. My pores are still noticeably smaller and my blackheads are few and far between, and best of all? Still no blemishes! While past facials have left my skin spotty and raw, this one has all but erased them. I’m using less make-up than usual and enjoy showing off my all-new, clear complexion without camouflaging it under a ton of cakey powder. As predicted, Bliss’s Triple Oxygen Facial was the breath of fresh air I was searching for.
